Applying for temporary residence card for foreigners

Foreigners working in Vietnam need to apply for a temporary residence card (TRC) issued by the Immigration Department – Ministry of Public Security. I. DOCUMENTATION FOR THE TEMPORARY RESIDENCE CARD ISSUER

a) A written request for temporary residence card (form NA6 for agencies, organizations, NA7 for individuals).

b) Application form for temporary residence cards for foreigners (NA8)

c) Papers proving eligibility to be considered for temporary residence cards is one of the papers. Work permit, Certificate of Head of Representative Office, Member of the Board of Directors or other valid papers proving eligibility for card issue.

dd) 02 photos sized 3 × 4 cm (01 photo glued to the declaration, 01 separate photo).

II- DOCUMENTATION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES OF THE COMPANY, ENTERPRISE, ORGANIZATION

When applying for a temporary residence card for a foreigner, agencies or organizations need to submit a dossier proving their legal status at the Immigration Department of the Ministry of Public Security.

a) License or decision of the competent authority on the establishment of the organization (notarized);

b) The organization’s operation registration document (notarized) issued by a competent agency of the People’s Committee of the province or centrally run city;

c) Introductory document, seal, signature of the legal representative of the organization;

The above submission is only done once. When there is any change to the content in the dossier, the enterprise must notify in writing the Immigration Department to supplement the dossier.
